8 Hour Certification Class

Seminars and workshops serve as an educational tool designed to provide knowledge to our local residences to help them move one step closer to realizing their dream of homeownership.

The seminars contain a variety of general information and practical advice on how to buy an affordable home. Typically, the classes are offered twice a month on Saturdays from 9-5 at a cost of twenty five dollars.

The topics covered in these sessions will teach you how to deal with credit repair, budgeting, homeownership preparation and selecting the right mortgage for you and your family.

If you are planning to purchase a home, our Homeownership Made Easy (HOME) Presentation will help you to understand the entire process of purchasing a home from the initial application to closing.

Remember, this eight hour course is mandatory if participating in the many of the programs. Participants will receive a certificate of completion. In addition, this certificate is required for participation in other home purchase assistance programs.
